Editorial Policy

  1. One primary source per fact. Every factual claim links to an official primary page (government, operator, airport, issuer) — a specific page or PDF, not a homepage or index.
  2. Check dates. Each page shows “Last checked” and its source table lists the date each source was checked.
  3. No unverified numbers. We do not publish prices, wait times, or statistics we could not match to a primary source. If not verified, we leave it out.
  4. No guarantees. We do not claim to be the best or the safest, and we do not guarantee safety, availability, or outcomes.
  5. Medical and legal topics are general information only. We point you to official contacts (e.g. embassy, immigration authority, emergency numbers, official medical information services) instead of giving advice.
  6. Media. We only use images we own, license, or are permitted to use under the source’s published terms. No scraped photos, no AI images presented as real places.
  7. Human final approval. AI tools may assist with research and drafting. Every page is checked against its sources and approved by a person before publishing. Approver: Margins & Maps Editorial.
